Hi! I’m shawn, aka mr.nckl5, a multidisciplinary artist based in the Pacific Northwest.
My creative journey began with photography and by looking for one thing each day to be grateful for and capturing it.
As my habit evolved into practice, my ability to be both present and appreciative increased dramatically. A burst of color, odd texture, or a trick of the light still makes me run for my camera.
As a result, I’ve spent the last 13 years dedicated to my art and 11 making a living from doing what I love.
By following my dreams, I feel fortunate to have the opportunity to work with amazing clients and brands, both locally and nationally, while traveling throughout the Pacific Northwest.
Along the way, I’ve learned the value of honoring that little voice inside. Inspiration and joy can be found everywhere, and investing in yourself always yields dividends.
My work spans street photography, design, branding, illustration, commercial photography/videography, motion graphics, writing, and audio production.
For my clients, these skills are complemented by my proficiency in content creation, social media management, brand strategy, and graphic design.
I’m grateful for this journey and to have so many reminders of my growing awareness and appreciation for the world.
